1. Independent Charging Circuits
The 4+1 charging bays are supported by independent charging circuits, guaranteeing
that each charging circuit has adequate current. Regardless of the number of charged
cells/batteries, it makes no difference to the charging current and charging time.
2. Optional Charging Speed
With the optional charging speed switch, users are enabled to choose the charging

speed according to his need and preferences. The charger is embedded with double-
colored LED indicators, green indicating slow charging while red indicating fast

charging. Users can directly observe the present charging speed via the LED indicator.
3. Cell/Battery Capacity and Status Indication
The LCD display screen on the charger indicates respectively the capacity and status of
the five cells/batteries.

4. Multi Chargeable Cell/Batteries Supported
The charger supports a variety of chargeable cells/batteries as follows:
1, AA Cell/Battery: AA Ni-MH, Ni-Cd , Cell/Battery
2, AAA Cell/Battery: AAA Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Cell/Battery
3, C Cell/Battery: C Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Li-ion, Cell/Battery
4, D Cell/Battery: D Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Li-ion, Cell/Battery
5, 3.7V Li-ion Cell/Battery: 18650 Li-ion Cell/Battery and etc. (The Li-ion cells/batteries with
the same voltage and a dimension matching the charging bay are all supported.)
6, 9V Cell/Battery

5. Cell/Battery Types Automatically Identified
The charger can automatically detect the type of inserted cells/batteries and
automatically select the optimal charging management mode. The charging programs
for Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Li-ion and cells/batteries are all different to avoid inadequate charging
or overcharging resulted from wrong charging programs. Users are free from setting the
cell/battery type via buttons and DIP switches on the charger.

6. Damaged Cells/Batteries Detection and Protection
The charger can automatically detect the condition of cell/battery. If a damaged
cell/battery is inserted, LCD screen will display “BAD” while the corresponding capacity
graph and the charging speed indicator will flash to give an alarm.
In order to prevent the damaged battery from damaging the charger, all the five charging
circuits will be cut until the damaged battery is removed.
7. Repair Function to Internal Short Circuit and Over-discharging Cell/Battery
An internal short circuit, over-charging and other improper use of the cell/battery may
result in the internal damage to the cell/battery. It will bring about an ultra-low voltage in
the cell/battery, and the traditional chargers can’t charge such cells/batteries. The
charger will repair them by consistent trickle charging when such cells/batteries are
detected.
8. USB Charging Function (Support iphone, ipad and high-current charging)
The USB output depends what type and quantity of battery charged. The max USB
output is 3A if no battery is charged. To ensure the fast charging speed on cell or ipad,
we don’t suggest charging batteries with USB port at same time.

9. Multi Protections
Over-voltage protection, Over-current protection, Over-charging protection, Longest
charging time protection, Short circuit protection and Reverse polarity protection
(Structure design)

Instructions

1. Charging:
Step 1: Plug the power adapter to the wall outlet.
Step 2: Plug the round socket output end of the power adapter to the charger.
Step 3: Insert the cell/battery to the charging bays and make sure that you have followed
the correct polarity. The positive pole ( + ) is featured by a fixed metal strip while the
negative pole ( – ) an adjustable spring mental strip.
Step 4: When the LCD displays a full cell/battery capacity and OK, take out the
cell/battery. It will be better if trickle charging is applied for 1-2 hour (s).

2. Charging Speed Switch
Step 1: Take out all the cells/batteries in the charger.
Step 2: Plug the power adaptor to the wall outlet.
Step 3: Plug the round socket output end of the power adapter to the charger.
Step 4: Press the charging speed switch. The initial speed is slow after the charger is on.
The green indicated slow speed while red fast.
Note: If the charger is on, user can take out the cells/batteries and then press directly the
charging speed switch. The charging speed switch can only be used without any
cell/battery in the charger.

• Protect the charger from collision, do not put heavy objects on the charger.
• Do not tamper with the charger ever! Any modification or any failure to follow procedures
stated in this manual leading to its damage will void the warranty and the supplier is not
responsible for electrical safety and EMC.
• DO NOT USE extension cables for power supply of the charger, or other kind of connection
which is in conflict with local regulations.
• When charging NiCd cells, the process of charging and discharging will restart in case the
power supply of the charger is interrupted.
• DO NOT short-circuit the cells / batteries.
• NEVER handle the charger with wet hands.
• In case of malfunction, do not attempt to repair the charger and always contact an authorized
service of the supplier or authorized dealer.
• If the device appears to be damaged, please DO NOT USE IT.
• DO NOT INSERT any objects into the charger.
• Extreme cold, heat or humidity can cause permanent damage, destroy, or affect the functionality
of the charger.
• DO NOT USE the charger in areas with strong sunlight.
• The charger can get hot during charging and therefore it should be used only in well ventilated
places, and out of reach of materials sensitive to temperature.
For example: Out of reach of painted / polished furniture, upholstery, leather, etc.
• ALWAYS remove all cells and disconnect the power supply, if the charger is not in use.
• The device should not be operated by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or persons with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
are supervised or have been provided with the instructions regarding the use of the device by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
• The color of the product can vary from the picture. The producer reserves the right to change
the product and its appearance without prior notice.
• If the cells cannot be used anymore, please return them for recycling, as required by local
regulations.
• Please, do not charge the damaged cells, but return them for recycling, as required by local
Regulations.

• Never dispose of the cells / batteries by burning it in a fire or in other inappropriate manner.
• You can make a complaint only in case of faulty products. Eventual complaint of a new product
is to be solved even before unpacking.
• When making a complaint, the new product must be in original packing and unused..
